Where to Eat in El Nido Town: El Nido Boutique Art Café

You may have already seen our post on the tour with El Nido Boutique Art Café, but they are far from a one trick pony! As well as running a successful tour company, and boutique they also own a delicious restaurant and café on the beachfront. Oh and not to mention they’re also environmental superheroes, helping keep El Nido’s beaches free of plastic and debris.

A delicious breakfast: the best fuel for a day of sightseeing!

Kieron and I had been searching all over town for decent coffee and a western style breakfast, and we found both at El Nido Boutique Art Café.

The best way to start our tour!

As delicious as the local ‘Baroko’ brew is, I’d been craving an Italian style cappuccino, so was over the moon when presented with this!

Coffee lovers dream

You can’t go wrong at 90PHP!

We both wanted filling breakfasts, so ordered the French toast with bacon (ACTUAL BACON!!) and a ham and cheese omelette which came with delicious artisan bread.

The most heavenly french toast

I can fully recommend the French toast, it was HUGE and deliciously buttery. After having been on the road for so long, sometimes you just want some home comforts and the bacon did the trick!

They have a huge breakfast selection, so if you’re looking for high quality food and coffee with a view then head over to El Nido Boutique Art Café!

A dinner date at El Nido Boutique Art Café.

After having sampled their breakfast menu, we couldn’t wait to see what was in store for dinner!

My handsome dinner date

We started with our new favourite beers San Miguel Lemon and San Miguel Apple. Since being in the Philippines we can’t get enough of these refreshing drinks! Plus, what could be more relaxing than enjoying a beer with a sea view?

Our new favourite beer!

Since we were approximately 10 metres from the sea, we thought it would be a waste to miss out on the fish and seafood on offer!

Kieron’s eye was immediately drawn to the fish fillet with homemade pesto sauce. We’re suckers for anything with pesto, but homemade was an extra special treat!

Look at that El Nido Boutique Art Cafe homemade pesto!

I was recommended the seafood spaghetti, and it honestly wouldn’t have been out of place at an Italian restaurant! (and I’ve eaten a lot of spaghetti in my time…)

It comes with an array of seafood and chicken AND fish! All topped with a delicious garlicky sauce and shavings of parmesan.

Still dreaming of this spaghetti

The portions were pretty sizeable so luckily we had a nice break listening to the live music before tackling dessert!

Live music at the El Nido Art Boutique Café

Having a live band serenade you whilst you ate was definitely a highlight of our evening! We were pleased to hear some real classics such as Coldplay and Men At Work, and had a good singalong (Kieron not so tunefully.)

Such a warm convivial atmosphere!

The music was so good, we had to grab a couple more drinks and stay until the end of the set!

Delicious Desserts at El Nido Art Boutique Café

I have a massive sweet tooth, so naturally took an age deliberating over which yummy looking pudding to have. Finally we decided on the carrot cake and the crème brulee, both which were gorgeous!

One of my favourite desserts!

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish our time in El Nido, and once again the staff were attentive but not intrusive, ensuring we had a lovely romantic evening. You know a place is nice when it manages to bring out a romantic side to Kieron…
